As a runner, Pilates instructor, and doula, I’m passionate about helping people reach their full potential. Since 2005, I’ve coached athletes with a focus on endurance training, women’s health, injury rehab, and sports performance.

I’ve competed in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials (2012, 2016, 2020) and represented the U.S. at three ultramarathon world championships, racing internationally in Germany, France, Italy, Qatar, and Austria. One of my proudest moments was winning the 2016 USATF Trail 50K Championships in the Bay Area.

Certified in Pilates since 2007, I specialize in injury prevention and rehabilitation, working with youth and adults on ankle, knee, back, and hip issues. I coach runners at all levels, from 5Ks to ultramarathons.

As a doula and pre/postnatal corrective exercise specialist, I’m dedicated to supporting women’s health—focusing on pelvic floor care, diastasis recti, prolapse, and returning to running postpartum.

I love helping athletes and beginners alike build strength, confidence, and joy in movement.

Pre/Postpartum Pilates & Strength

I bring a seriously positive attitude to everything I do, especially when I teach. I started my fitness journey as a spin and core strengthening instructor, then went on to complete my Pilates and strength certification with The Town Athletics. I’m also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

I believe the best workouts are the ones that challenge you to go beyond what you thought was possible. That’s the energy I bring to every class—whether you're brand new or a seasoned regular, I aim to coach and encourage you through a strong, pain-free session. Outside of the studio, I love running, crocheting, and experimenting in the kitchen.

In addition to my yoga training, I pursued a formal education in occupational therapy to support people with injuries or physical differences in learning how to use their bodies more effectively and live fuller, more independent lives. I’ve been teaching since 2008, am certified through Yoga Alliance, and completed advanced yoga therapeutics training at Loyola Marymount University.

I maintain a regular home yoga practice and enjoy cross-training with hiking, running, Pilates, and strength work. My goal is to help students feel good in their bodies—regardless of how the poses look—and I’m passionate about creating customized practices that support long-term physical health and joyful movement.

I’ve been in the wellness industry since 2009. My journey began in Portland, Oregon, where I studied Kung Fu and traditional Chinese bodywork while attending massage school. When I moved to Oakland in 2013, I started my private massage practice and also discovered a passion for powerlifting.

As a former competitive cyclist and endurance athlete, I turned to Pilates to recover from the effects of overtraining. It helped me restore balance in both body and mind and became a powerful tool for injury prevention. That experience ultimately inspired me to become a Pilates instructor.

Pilates reminds me to stay connected to my body and breath, and I love sharing that connection with others.

I’m passionate about building a supportive community and fostering wellness through meaningful, therapeutic human interaction. I believe wellness is a lifelong journey, and I’m excited to teach, learn, and grow alongside my students.
